The Canadian Freelance Union expresses our deepest condolences for the families, friends and wider community affected by yesterday's tragic and senseless violence in Quebec. The Canadian Freelance Union condemns this egregious act of violence perpetrated against innocent Muslim adults and children in their sacred space. We are especially humbled by the strength shown by our Muslim friends and colleagues in the face of increasing Islamophobia and hate-driven violence that has been visited on the Islamic community in Canada and throughout the world.
